Qianyang County Signs Strategic Agreement with Shenzhen Zhouhui for Used NEV Battery Utilization Project

Recently, the People's Government of Qianyang County successfully signed a strategic agreement with Shenzhen Zhouhui New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. for the comprehensive utilisation project of used power batteries from NEVs, marking a significant step for Qianyang County in the field of new energy circular economy industry. It is reported that the total investment of the project is 108 million yuan, with a planned land area of 22 mu, and it will be constructed in two phases. Among them, the first phase will invest 60 million yuan, with a construction period of 12 months. After completion, the annual output value is expected to reach 210 million yuan, with an annual tax contribution of 14.36 million yuan, and it can create employment for 200 people.

The project focuses on the recycling, dismantling, and resource utilisation of used power batteries, aiming to build a new energy industry chain that integrates environmental protection, technology, and recycling. It will inject strong momentum into cultivating new quality productive forces and promoting green and low-carbon development in Qianyang County.
