TOP 100 Firms' Land Acquisition Surges 30% YoY in Q1 2025 Amid High Bidding Enthusiasm

According to data from the China Index Academy, the total land acquisition amount of the TOP 100 enterprises from January to March 2025 reached 289.58 billion yuan, up 30.6% YoY, with the growth rate expanding by 3.9 percentage points MoM. Since the beginning of the year, the bidding enthusiasm for high-quality land plots in core cities has been relatively high, with the land transfer revenue of residential land in 300 cities increasing by more than 20% YoY. The recovery of market sentiment in core cities has boosted the confidence of real estate enterprises in land acquisition, and driven by both supply and demand, the total land acquisition amount of the TOP 100 enterprises increased by about 30% YoY.
