The 40,000 mt Comprehensive Recycling Project for Retired Power Batteries in Linyi, Shandong Province Has Been Launched. Recently, the Administrative Examination and Approval Service Bureau of Hedong District People's Government in Linyi City, Shandong Province, issued a pre-approval announcement for the 40,000 mt comprehensive recycling project for retired power batteries from new energy vehicles, to be undertaken by Shandong Taigu Jiantou New Materials Co., Ltd. The project mainly includes the construction of 4 scrap lithium battery pack disassembly lines, 2 retired power battery cascade utilization production lines, and 6 retired power battery crushing and sorting production lines, along with supporting auxiliary production facilities. The project covers an area of 65,659 m2, with a building area of 35,340 m2, and is expected to commence production in May 2025. Upon completion, the facility will achieve an annual recycling capacity of 40,000 mt of retired power batteries from new energy vehicles.
