SMM March 28 News: The weekly operating rate of secondary lead in four provinces from March 22 to March 28, 2025 was 59.32%, down 1.18 percentage points WoW. The competition for raw materials among secondary lead smelters in Anhui and nearby regions was intense, especially after the new secondary lead capacity in Jiangsu and Jiangxi regions was put into operation this year, making raw material prices more likely to rise than fall. This week, some secondary lead smelters in Anhui cut production due to raw material resistance, and the regional operating rate decreased by 2.97 percentage points.
