A 3 Billion Yuan Solid-State Battery Project Launched in Guizhou
On March 21, the groundbreaking ceremony for a bio-carbon-based solid-state battery production site construction project by a Guizhou energy company was held in the Zunyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Xinpu Economic Development Zone). It is reported that the project has a total investment of 3 billion yuan, covers an area of 233 mu, and is expected to have an annual production capacity of 4.2 GWh of high-safety solid-state batteries and 530 sets of data center energy storage systems. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in June 2026.
