Electric Bike Trade-in Sales in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Up About 30% YoY

In active response to the notice issued by relevant national departments regarding the 2025 e-bike trade-in program, Wenzhou launched its e-bike trade-in initiative on February 25. According to the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, 575 merchants across the city have participated in the trade-in activities, with 16,864 e-bikes traded in, boosting consumption by 54.804 million yuan and utilizing 19.62 million yuan in subsidies. Local e-bike sales outlets reported a surge in new bike purchases since the start of the trade-in program, with sales up about 30% compared to the same period last year.
