Zhejiang Wenzhou E-bike Trade-in Sales Up About 30% YoY

In active response to the notice issued by relevant national departments regarding the 2025 annual e-bike trade-in program, Wenzhou launched its e-bike trade-in initiative on February 25 this year. According to the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, 575 merchants across the city have participated in the trade-in activities, with 16,864 units traded in, boosting consumption by 54.804 million yuan and utilizing a total subsidy of 19.62 million yuan. Local e-bike sales stores reported that since the launch of the e-bike trade-in program, there has been a surge in new bike purchases, with sales up about 30% compared to the same period last year.
