SMM Silicon-Based PV Morning Meeting Summary: Wafer Prices Stabilize, Inventory Pulls Back Slightly; Batteries in Undersupply Due to Rush for Installations Wafer prices stabilized temporarily, and inventory pulled back slightly this week due to demand. Integrated solar cell manufacturers increased their production schedules in April, and as a result of the rush for installations, battery inventory levels were extremely low.

Silicon Wafer Prices: The market price for N-type 18X silicon wafers is 1.18-1.2 yuan/piece; the price for 210R model silicon wafers is 1.35-1.45 yuan/piece. Silicon wafer prices are temporarily stable, with the market pausing to observe the supply and demand situation of the upstream and downstream in April. Production: The current March silicon wafer production schedule is expected to increase slightly compared to previous expectations. Q2 silicon wafer company quotas have been raised, but April silicon wafer production is constrained by a short window period and recruitment issues. Inventory: This week, silicon wafer inventory has dropped back slightly, mainly due to demand. There is a possibility that the good demand for solar cells in March-April will boost the enthusiasm for purchasing silicon wafers. Solar Cell Prices: The price for high-efficiency PERC182 solar cells (23.2% and above efficiency) is 0.31-0.32 yuan/W; there is no trading volume for PERC210 solar cells. Topcon183 solar cell (25% and above efficiency) prices are around 0.295-0.31 yuan/W, Topcon210RN solar cell prices are 0.33-0.34 yuan/W, and Topcon210 solar cell prices are 0.295-0.31 yuan/W. The prices for 183N and 210N have increased, with quotes rising to 0.31 yuan/W. The current transaction center is at 0.3 yuan/W, with ongoing orders at 0.295-0.3 yuan/W. HJT direct sales are limited, with integrated manufacturers being self-sufficient. Production: Recently, April solar cell production plans have been gradually released, with the main increase in solar cell production coming from integrated manufacturers. In addition, a few battery manufacturers that have been shut down for several months plan to resume operations in stages. Inventory: Driven by the rush for PV installations, solar cells are in undersupply, with extremely low inventory levels. PV Film Prices PV-grade EVA: The transaction price for PV-grade EVA is 11,550-11,950 yuan/mt. The domestic settlement price for PV-grade POE is about 12,000-14,000 yuan/mt. PV Film: The current mainstream 420g transparent EVA film price is 5.54-5.67 yuan/m², 420g white EVA film price is 6.04-6.17 yuan/m², 380g EPE film price is 5.79-5.89 yuan/m², and 380g POE film price is 6.84-7.22 yuan/m². Production: In March, the production schedule for PV-grade EVA increased 13.7% MoM, and the production schedule for PV film increased 28.5% MoM. Inventory: Recently, there have been some transactions for PV-grade EVA. Due to the rush for module installations, there is a significant increase in demand, and it is expected that inventory will remain at a low level.
