[Lopal Expands into Lithium Battery Recycling Business] SMM learned that during an investor relations activity, Lopal revealed it can extract lithium carbonate, iron phosphate, nickel sulphate, cobalt sulphate, and manganese sulphate from used batteries through its newly acquired battery dismantling company, Shandong Meiduo. These products can be directly utilized by Lopal's subsidiaries, Changzhou Liyuan and Sanjin Lithium, achieving internal production and sales synergy.

Additionally, Lopal can produce high-performance LFP cathode materials using a short-process pyrometallurgy regeneration technology, which performs comparably to new LFP materials while reducing the production cost of LFP cathode materials. Furthermore, Lopal can obtain battery-grade lithium carbonate that meets technical requirements and qualified iron phosphate materials through hydrometallurgy recycling and iron slag recovery. Lopal plans to establish a comprehensive recycling system integrating grinding mills, battery manufacturers, battery cell manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers, and end-user recycling points to ensure a stable supply of raw materials. By establishing close cooperative relationships with all parties, Lopal ensures a steady supply of used batteries, thereby guaranteeing the continuity of its production.
