CNGR Releases Environmental Impact Assessment for Sodium-Ion Battery Materials Production Line Renovation and Expansion Project

Recently, the first information disclosure of the environmental impact assessment for CNGR's sodium-ion battery materials production line renovation and expansion project was released. This project involves both renovation, expansion, and changes. The changes include: reducing the annual production capacity of 6,228 tons of sodium-ion battery precursor to 3,114 tons per year, and simultaneously reducing the annual processing capacity of 1,000 tons of sodium-ion battery cathode material precursor return solution line to 500 tons per year.

The expansion and renovation content includes: adding a new annual production line with a capacity of 4,000 tons of sodium-ion battery polyanion precursors in the existing No. 3 sodium-ion workshop, expanding the No. 3 sodium-ion workshop, and constructing a new annual production line with a capacity of 1,500 tons of sodium-ion battery polyanion cathode materials in the expanded part. The annual production line for self-use ammonia water at 70,000 tons and other public auxiliary and environmental protection facilities remain unchanged.
