Driven by Both Cost and Demand, Film Prices Expected to Rise

EVA film, recent mainstream transaction prices were 13,300-13,500 yuan/mt, while EPE film mainstream transaction prices were 15,200-15,500 yuan/mt. Cost side, high PV-grade EVA prices provided cost support for the increase in film prices. On the demand side, influenced by a domestic rush for installations, distributed PV demand surged, with component production schedules rising. Robust downstream demand, coupled with severe cost pressures on films, led to a dual push from both the cost and demand sides, with film prices expected to trend upward.
