The prices of foaming and cable grades also saw a slight increase, driven by the rise in PV-grade EVA. With some petrochemical plants extending their maintenance schedules, the tight spot supply of PV-grade EVA resin has somewhat eased, but the market as a whole still faces an undersupply situation. On the demand side, the rush for installations ahead of the "430" and "531" deadlines has led to robust demand for spot supplies, boosting the production schedule of modules. Downstream demand remains robust, but the increase in PV-grade EVA prices may be constrained by the cost pressures faced by downstream encapsulation films.
