Shanghai Zinc:Futures market edged lower with improved trading [SMM Midday Review]

SMM March 20 News:Today, the mainstream transaction prices of 0# zinc were concentrated at 23,660~23,920 yuan/mt, Shuangyan traded at 23,720~23,960 yuan/mt, and 1# zinc mainly transacted at 23,590~23,850 yuan/mt. In the morning session, the market quoted at premiums of 0~20 yuan/mt against the average price, with fewer quotes against the futures. In the second trading period, ordinary domestic brands were quoted at premiums of 0~20 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract, while Baiyin was quoted at a premium of 20 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract, Huize at a premium of 50 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract, and the high-priced brand Shuangyan at a premium of 60 yuan/mt against the 2504 contract. The futures market edged slightly lower compared to yesterday, with some downstream enterprises placing orders at low points. Trading by some merchants improved, but with more goods being sold, spot premiums struggled to rise, remaining basically stable at yesterday's levels.
