The mainstream brands were quoted at a discount of 15 yuan per ton against the 2505 contract and at a discount of 20 yuan per ton against the Shanghai spot price. The price difference between Shanghai and Guangdong remained stable. In the first period, the holders quoted a discount of 15 to a premium of 5 yuan per ton for Qilin, Mengzi, Danxia and Lanxin. In the second period, Qilin, Huize and Lanxin were quoted at a discount of 15 to a premium of 5 yuan per ton against the online price. Overall, the month-on-month spread narrowed today, while zinc prices remained volatile. Some downstream buyers still chose to make small spot purchases at the current price.
