Launch Meeting of Shandong Province Key Laboratory of Rare Earth Magnetic Functional Materials and Power Devices Held

The launch meeting of the Shandong Province Key Laboratory of Rare Earth Magnetic Functional Materials and Power Devices (under preparation) was recently held in Rongcheng City. The meeting attracted over 30 representatives, including Huang Xiaowei, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Jiang Chengbao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as participants from the Weihai Science and Technology Bureau, Rongcheng Municipal Government, Shandong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Grirem Advanced Materials Co., Ltd.

The laboratory will focus on national strategic needs in the future, particularly in emerging technological fields such as next-generation electronic information and NEVs. Driven by technological innovation, it is committed to optimizing the layout of the rare earth magnetic materials and their application industry chain. The laboratory aims to promote the deep integration of the innovation chain and the industry chain, providing support for the technological innovation and development of Shandong Province, Weihai City, and Rongcheng City, while contributing to the goal of building a strong rare earth nation.
