[Policy Transition Period: Fuzhou E-Bike Subsidy Distribution Takes Up to 70 Days]
According to the Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, during the policy transition period in 2025, the Fujian UnionPay was selected by the Provincial Department of Commerce through a public bidding process as the service provider for the 2025 e-bike trade-in subsidy distribution. A comprehensive management service platform for e-bike trade-in programs will be established across the province, offering "one-stop" services such as coupon issuance, redemption, summary, settlement, review, and supervision.
After the provincial service platform is put into use, consumers participating in the e-bike trade-in subsidy program will adopt an "instant purchase and discount" model. Before the provincial service platform is put into use (i.e., during the policy transition period), Fuzhou will continue to use the 2024 e-bike subsidy application system. From the time an applicant submits an application to the subsidy distribution, the process will take up to approximately 70 days. Once Fujian UnionPay receives the subsidy funds, it will distribute the subsidies to applicants who have passed the review.
