The total steel shipment volume from ports nationwide, according to SMM, was 710.9 mt, up 400,000 mt WoW, an increase of 6%. Among them, the total shipment volume from the six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian Port, Bayuquan Port, Tianjin New Port, Huanghua Port, and Jinzhou Port) was 2.4933 million mt, down 358,600 mt WoW, accounting for 35% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume from the three major ports in east China (Shanghai Port, Zhangjiagang Port, and Lanbei Port) was 48.74 mt, down 94,900 mt WoW, accounting for 7% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume from the two major ports in south China (Zhanjiang Port and Fangchenggang) was 456,100 mt, up 34,700 mt WoW, accounting for 6% of the total shipment volume.
