SMM March 14 News: This week, lead-acid battery manufacturers and dealers primarily focused on raw material prices. Since March, the center of lead prices has gradually shifted upward. Similarly, the prices of raw materials for lead-acid battery production, such as antimony and tin, have also surged significantly, increasing cost pressure on lead-acid battery manufacturers, who are inclined to raise battery selling prices. Currently, some wholesale battery markets have reported price hikes. For instance, e-bike battery dealers are expected to increase wholesale prices by about 10 yuan per unit after March 15, such as 48V20Ah batteries rising to 430 yuan per unit. Regarding raw material procurement, battery manufacturers mainly adopt a purchasing-as-needed model.
