Some brass rod enterprises reported that recent order volumes fell short of expectations, showing a significant decline compared to previous years. Although March orders improved slightly MoM, they still only reached about 85% of the level in the same period last year. Additionally, impacted by inverted overseas prices, sourcing raw materials from abroad has become challenging, leading enterprises to primarily purchase spot cargo recently. However, high spot market prices have further intensified cost pressure. Overall, brass rod enterprises are facing dual challenges of insufficient orders and elevated raw material costs, resulting in significant short-term operational pressure.
