SMM March 13 News: The low-sulphur calcined petroleum coke market showed a stable transition trend. Recently, due to the decline in raw petroleum coke prices and weak purchase willingness from downstream enterprises, the price of calcined petroleum coke has continued to decrease. Currently, the average price of low-sulphur calcined petroleum coke in north-east China is 6,700 yuan/mt, down by 11.84% compared to the beginning of this month. Although the price of low-sulphur calcined petroleum coke has been adjusted due to lower raw material costs, the overall sales performance of enterprises remains average. Moreover, as downstream enterprises lack confidence in the future market, the sentiment of observing and waiting has become increasingly strong. Therefore, SMM expects that the price of low-sulphur calcined petroleum coke may remain weak in the short term.
