【10,000-Mt-Scale Lithium Battery Recycling and Utilisation Project Launched in Huainan, Anhui】

On March 4, the Huainan Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment in Anhui province released the first public announcement of the environmental impact assessment for the "New Energy Lithium Battery Recycling and Comprehensive Utilisation Project" by Anhui Jiushi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., marking the official commencement of the project's environmental review phase. The project, undertaken by Anhui Jiushi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., will lease Factory No. 2 in the Smart Display Industrial Park of the Huainan Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a renovation area of approximately 15,000 m². The project will procure dismantling and sorting production equipment, environmental protection equipment, lithium battery crushing and sorting processing equipment, and construct a lithium battery crushing and sorting production line. Upon completion, the project will achieve an annual processing capacity of 10,000 mt of scrap batteries.
