【Northvolt Sells Polish Battery Energy Storage System Production Facility】
Recently, Sweden-based lithium-ion battery manufacturer Northvolt announced that it has sold its industrial division, which includes a battery energy storage system production facility operating in Poland. This move is part of the company's strategy to divest non-core assets.
Northvolt has signed a sale and purchase agreement with a buyer from a leading industrial group (name undisclosed). The Northvolt Systems Industrial division was established in 2018 to manufacture batteries for heavy industry, vehicles, and the stationary ESS sector.
