[1 Billion Yuan! Longsheng New Energy Core Component Zero-Carbon Factory Project Commences]

According to SMM, on March 9, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Longsheng New Energy core component "Zero-Carbon Factory" project was held in Shengze Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province.

It is reported that the total investment in the Longsheng New Energy core component "Zero-Carbon Factory" project is 1 billion yuan, integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, and operations. The project is expected to focus on the R&D and production of new energy vanadium flow batteries, the development and construction of new-type power systems, the investment and construction of zero-carbon park projects, as well as the application and development of generation-grid-load-storage integrated scenarios. It will establish an R&D and testing center for new-type power systems and products, design and configure a vanadium flow battery production line with an expected annual output of 100 MWh, and achieve an annual output value of 550 million yuan upon full production. The project is also expected to generate tax revenue of 1 million yuan per mu and provide approximately 220 job opportunities.

The project is led by South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and EcoPro BM was selected in early August, along with four other enterprises, as a third-phase "super subcontractor" company.
