This week (March 1, 2025 - March 7, 2025), primary lead smelters mainly focused on production recovery and capacity increase. The operating rate of primary lead in the three provinces increased by 5.98 percentage points WoW to 60.28%.

In Henan, the smelter that had previously reduced production for one day due to equipment failure resumed production this week, while other smelters maintained stable operations. The operating rate in Henan saw a slight rebound WoW. In Hunan, medium- and large-scale smelters maintained stable production after supply recovery this week, while a small-scale smelter temporarily halted production due to limited raw material supply. The operating rate in Hunan continued its upward trend. In Yunnan, the smelter that had undergone technological transformation and maintenance resumed production with a slight capacity increase. Outside the surveyed samples of the three provinces, in Anhui, the smelter that had previously experienced a production decline due to fluctuations in raw material grade resumed production this week. In Qinghai, a smelter resumed production after maintenance, leading to a slight increase in March production, while other smelters maintained stable operations.
