【Kingrose-BHP Alliance Acquires Jakon Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project from Rio Tinto】
On February 28, Kingrose Mining announced the acquisition of the Jakon nickel/copper/cobalt project in Finland from Rio Tinto Exploration, strengthening its operations in European countries. This acquisition will become part of the Kingrose-BHP exploration alliance, which currently covers an area of 1,198 square kilometers. The Jakon project includes two exploration licenses and six exploration reservation areas, located in central Finland, with a total area of 205 square kilometers. The project was identified during the 2023 BHP Xplor program from several high-priority nickel/copper/cobalt targets generated by Kingrose's target generation work.
