Weekly Steel Shipment Volume Nationwide Increases by 6%

The total steel shipment volume from ports nationwide, according to SMM, was 691.13 mt, up 378,100 mt WoW, an increase of 6%. Among them, the total shipment volume from six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian Port, Bayuquan Port, Tianjin Xingang Port, Huanghua Port, and Jinzhou Port) was 3.1664 million mt, up 176,700 mt WoW, accounting for 46% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume from three major ports in east China (Shanghai Port, Zhangjiagang Port, and Lanbei Port) was 72.28 mt, up 82,700 mt WoW, accounting for 10% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume from two major ports in south China (Zhanjiang Port and Fangchenggang) was 486,600 mt, up 92,900 mt WoW, accounting for 7% of the total shipment volume.
