[Solid-State Batteries Expected to Be Installed in Vehicles by 2027]

A relevant official from the China EV100 stated that in the NEV sector, solid-state batteries are expected to begin vehicle installation by 2027 and achieve mass production and application by 2030. The China EV100 noted that compared to the lithium-ion batteries commonly used in NEVs today, solid-state batteries offer advantages such as higher safety, greater energy density, longer lifespan, and faster charging speeds. It is anticipated that by 2025, the market share of plug-in hybrid technology in the NEV market will rise to approximately 40%, the range-extended technology route will maintain a share of around 10%, and the pure electric technology route is expected to decline to about 50%.
