SMM reported on February 26: Dealers in Jiangxi province indicated that the replacement demand in the e-bike lead-acid battery market remains weak, with no significant improvement in battery sales. As the traditional off-season approaches, current battery inventory is controlled within half a month. Additionally, the wholesale price of the main model 48V12Ah is 310-320 yuan per unit. Manufacturers in Jiangsu province reported that the overall demand in the e-bike lead-acid battery market is moderate. Although the e-bike trade-in policy has been enhanced, the current demand for battery replacement remains limited, with factory operating rates maintained at around 70%. Manufacturers in Shandong province reported poor demand in the e-bike and three-wheeler lead-acid battery markets. Dealers are only purchasing as needed, and to avoid inventory buildup, factory production line operating rates are kept at 60-70%, with raw material lead also being purchased as needed.
