On February 25, the quoted price for high-carbon ferrochrome in Inner Mongolia was 7,450-7,650 yuan/mt (50% metal content), unchanged from the previous trading day. Influenced by rising chrome ore prices, tight supply in the ferrochrome retail market, and narrowing producer margins, the market generally expects steel mill tender prices to increase. However, as steel mills still have sufficient prior inventory, the expected price increase may be limited. With the steel mill tender period approaching at month-end, market sentiment has turned more cautious, prices have stabilized, and trading volume has decreased, with all parties awaiting the announcement of tender results.
