China's Steel Shipment Volume Rose 12% MoM Last Week

The total steel shipment volume from ports nationwide, according to SMM, was 653.32 mt, up 689,400 mt MoM, an increase of 12%. Among them, the total shipment volume from the six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian Port, Bayuquan Port, Tianjin Xingang Port, Huanghua Port, and Jinzhou Port) was 2.9897 million mt, up 293,400 mt MoM, accounting for 46% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume from the three major ports in east China (Shanghai Port, Zhangjiagang Port, and Lanbei Port) was 64.01 mt, up 238,900 mt MoM, accounting for 10% of the total shipment volume. The total shipment volume from the two major ports in south China (Zhanjiang Port and Fangchenggang) was 393,700 mt, up 41,700 mt MoM, accounting for 6% of the total shipment volume.
