CAAM Reports Slight YoY Increase in Auto Exports in January 2025

[CAAM: Auto Exports in January Showed Continued Strong Performance, Up Slightly YoY]

On February 21, according to statistics and analysis by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), auto exports in January 2025 continued to show strong performance, increasing slightly YoY. Auto exports reached 470,000 units (down 6.8% MoM, up 6.1% YoY). Passenger car exports were 395,000 units (down 7.2% MoM, up 7% YoY). Commercial vehicle exports were 75,000 units (down 4.5% MoM, up 1.5% YoY). Traditional fuel vehicle exports were 320,000 units (down 13.8% MoM, down 6.6% YoY). New energy vehicle (NEV) exports were 150,000 units (up 12.6% MoM, up 49.6% YoY).
