On February 18, the quoted price for high-carbon ferrochrome in Inner Mongolia was 7,450-7,650 yuan/mt (50% metal content), unchanged from the previous trading day. The price increase of high-carbon ferrochrome has temporarily slowed down. Although market quotations remain high, the low procurement prices from stainless steel mills in February have made downstream traders more cautious in their purchases. Currently, driven by the rising chrome ore prices, cost support is relatively evident, and the market holds an optimistic outlook for next month's steel mill procurement prices. Additionally, with the approach of the "Golden March and Silver April" consumption peak season, ferrochrome prices are expected to remain stable in the short term.
