SMM News on February 18: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price dropped by 25 yuan/mt from yesterday to 16,925 yuan/mt. During the early trading session, ex-factory quotations for secondary refined lead were quoted at discounts of 150-0 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead price. Due to firm scrap battery prices, most suppliers narrowed the discounts to 50-0 yuan/mt, with a few quoting premiums of 25 yuan/mt. The mainstream ex-factory quotations for tax-free refined lead ranged from 15,900-16,000 yuan/mt.
