This week (February 8, 2025 - February 14, 2025), the production of primary lead smelters gradually resumed, with the operating rate of primary lead in the three provinces increasing by 2.92 percentage points WoW to 49.37%.

This week, large-scale smelters in Henan Province maintained stable production. A medium-sized smelter that had slightly reduced production during the Chinese New Year holiday resumed normal production, while two small-scale smelters resumed crude lead production, but the recovery of primary lead production will be delayed until next week. In Hunan Province, several smelters that had suspended production for maintenance during the Chinese New Year holiday gradually stabilized crude lead production. Partial production resumed this week, and further increases are expected next week. The supply of primary lead in the region continued its recovery trend. In Yunnan Province, smelters that had previously suspended production for maintenance fully resumed production this week, while other smelters maintained stable production. Outside the surveyed samples of the three provinces, smelters in Jiangxi Province slightly increased production, and smelters in Guangdong Province maintained normal production after resuming post-holiday operations.
