[Shanghai Car Replacement and Upgrade Subsidy Policy Released]

The implementation details of Shanghai's 2025 car replacement and upgrade subsidy policy have been released. From January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, individual consumers who purchase a new energy passenger car (including pure electric passenger cars, plug-in hybrid passenger cars, and plug-in extended-range hybrid passenger cars) listed in the "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Producers and Products" or other relevant national car model catalogs, and transfer a passenger car registered under their name in the city within the specified period, will receive a one-time fixed subsidy of 15,000 yuan. From January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, individual consumers who purchase a new fuel passenger car meeting the China VI-b emission standard, and transfer a fuel passenger car registered under their name in the city that meets China V or lower emission standards within the specified period, will receive a one-time fixed subsidy of 13,000 yuan.
