The ASX-listed junior exploration company Critica recently announced that its Jupiter deposit in Australia has become the country's largest and highest-grade clay-hosted rare earth deposit.
Within less than 16 months, Critica conducted its first resource estimate for the Jupiter deposit. Based on a cut-off grade of 0.1%, the project's inferred ore resources are estimated at 1.8 billion mt with a total rare earth oxide (TREO) grade of 0.17%; while at a cut-off grade of 0.18%, the high-grade ore resources amount to 500 million mt with a TREO grade of 0.22%.
