The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price was 76,390 yuan/mt, down 69 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Battery-grade lithium carbonate was priced at 75,500-77,400 yuan/mt, with an average price of 76,450 yuan/mt, down 100 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Industrial-grade lithium carbonate was priced at 72,950-73,950 yuan/mt, with an average price of 73,450 yuan/mt, down 50 yuan/mt from the previous working day. The price center of spot lithium carbonate continued to decline. Based on the current market transaction situation, downstream material plants have relatively weak purchase willingness due to sufficient pre-holiday stockpiling and are mostly adopting a cautious wait-and-see attitude. Considering the expected increase in domestic lithium carbonate production and overseas import volumes, it is anticipated that the domestic lithium carbonate market will remain in a surplus state in February. Spot lithium carbonate prices are expected to drop slightly, accompanied by sideways movement.
