[SMM Daily Review on EMM: Market Slightly Chaotic, EMM Continues to Fluctuate Upward] The average spot price of EMM in major production areas was 12,900-13,100 yuan/mt, up 300 yuan/mt MoM; the average FOB price was $1,820-1,840/mt, up $30/mt MoM. Supply side, EMM plants showed strong reluctance to sell, mainly fulfilling previous orders, and maintained high external quotations. Demand side, downstream steel mills resumed production slowly, overseas steel mills showed low acceptance of high-priced EMM, market inquiries were active, but actual transactions remained sluggish.
