The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price was 76,459 yuan/mt, down 91 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Battery-grade lithium carbonate was priced at 75,700-77,400 yuan/mt, with an average price of 76,550 yuan/mt, down 100 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Industrial-grade lithium carbonate was priced at 73,000-74,000 yuan/mt, with an average price of 73,500 yuan/mt, down 100 yuan/mt from the previous working day. The price center of spot lithium carbonate continued to decline. Based on current market transactions, downstream material plants, having stocked up sufficiently before the holiday, currently exhibit weak purchase willingness and remain in a cautious wait-and-see mode. Considering the expected increase in domestic lithium carbonate production and overseas import volumes, the domestic lithium carbonate market is anticipated to remain in surplus in February. Spot lithium carbonate prices are expected to drop slightly, accompanied by sideways movement.
