On February 10, SMM A00 aluminum was quoted at 20,410 yuan/mt, down 60 yuan, with a discount of 40 yuan to the February contract, unchanged. The price spread between Henan and Shanghai was -130 yuan, unchanged. SMM Central China closed at 20,280 yuan/mt, down 60 yuan. On February 10, SMM A00 aluminum (Foshan) was quoted at 20,420 yuan/mt, down 80 yuan, with a discount of 25 yuan to the current month, widening by 15 yuan. (Unit: yuan/mt)

Aluminum Billet Spot Market: According to SMM statistics, on February 10, aluminum billet inventory in major domestic consumption regions stood at 294,500 mt, an increase of 19,500 mt WoW. Benefiting from the early resumption of work by manufacturers in the industrial extrusion sector, especially in the automotive segment, the overall operating rate of the domestic aluminum extrusion industry reached 61.3% over the past week, showing a significant rebound compared to earlier levels. Although domestic aluminum billet inventory continued to increase, buying sentiment improved with the progress of downstream resumption, boosting market transactions. SHFE aluminum briefly dipped to around 20,400 yuan/mt today before rebounding. Processing fees rose accordingly, with Foshan aluminum billet market quoted at 190-240 yuan/mt, up 40 yuan; Wuxi market saw earlier-than-expected destocking, with processing fees quoted at 200-250 yuan/mt, up 40 yuan; Nanchang region processing fees were quoted at 200-250 yuan/mt, up 20-30 yuan.
