During the Chinese New Year holiday, most downstream battery producers were on holiday and largely ceased lead ingot procurement, leading to a significant accumulation of finished product inventories at secondary lead smelters. This week, with the end of the Chinese New Year holiday, the gradual recovery of logistics and downstream battery producers has driven a decline in finished product inventories.
