This week, ESS battery cell prices remained stable. Cost side, due to the decline in prices of key materials such as LFP cathode material and aluminum, the cost of ESS battery cells slightly decreased compared to pre-holiday levels. According to SMM calculations, the theoretical cost of a 280Ah battery cell today is 0.296 yuan/Wh, while that of a 314Ah battery cell is 0.281 yuan/Wh. Market side, although battery cell enterprises are gradually resuming production, domestic demand for ESS battery cells has entered the traditional off-season in Q1, with a slight pullback in production and sales. Currently, ESS battery cell inventory remains at a low level, and with relatively small cost fluctuations, battery cell prices are temporarily stable. Looking ahead, in the short term, battery cell costs are not expected to change significantly, and ESS battery cell prices are likely to remain stable.
