Weekly Brief Review of Lead Concentrates Market (January 18, 2025 - January 24, 2025) [SMM Weekly Review on Lead Concentrates]

As the Chinese New Year holiday approaches, quotations in the lead concentrates market have decreased. Some mines without plans for production halts or maintenance during the holiday have signed February contracts in advance to complete presales, with February Pb50TC quotations remaining flat compared to January. Several smelters indicated that February lead concentrates market quotations will be negotiated after the holiday, and are expected to remain largely unchanged from January. Additionally, silver prices showed a strong trend before the holiday, prompting some suppliers of silver-lead ore with lower silver pricing coefficient bases to slightly raise their silver pricing coefficients. However, mainstream quotations have not shown any changes yet.
