Linyi Zhongtai Launches Comprehensive Recycling Project for Retired EV Batteries

Linyi Zhongtai Times New Materials Co., Ltd. has officially launched a comprehensive recycling project for retired power batteries from new energy vehicles, with an annual processing capacity of 40,000 mt. The company was recognized as a national-level technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise in 2023 and holds over 200 invention patents. It has mastered domestic production processes and equipment for handling battery pole pieces and retired 18650 batteries, forming a full life cycle recycling system for battery disassembly, utilization, and regeneration. The total investment in the project is 610 million yuan, covering an area of 170 mu. The first phase is expected to construct six dry production lines and one cascade utilization line, achieving an annual processing capacity of 40,000 mt of lithium batteries upon completion.
