SMM, January 20: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price remained flat WoW at 16,675 yuan/mt. The spot market saw weak supply and demand, with mainstream secondary refined lead quoted at premiums of 0-75 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead average price on an ex-factory basis. The ex-factory prices of tax-free refined lead were reported at 15,800-15,880 yuan/mt. Suppliers followed market trends, while most downstream battery producers had largely completed stockpiling, and transactions for secondary lead were sparse.
