SMM, January 17: This week, the domestic lead-acid battery market saw an increasing Chinese New Year atmosphere. After January 15, logistics vehicles significantly decreased, and dealers largely completed pre-holiday stockpiling. Meanwhile, there were no significant changes in the wholesale selling prices of batteries, with the main model 48V12Ah priced at 310-330 yuan per unit. On the producer side, major enterprises mainly carried out their final pre-holiday stockpiling this week. Spot market transactions were moderate at the beginning of the week, but as logistics vehicles decreased in the latter half, delays in shipments occurred in some regions, and downstream stockpiling neared completion. Next week, with more lead-acid battery enterprises going on holiday and further reductions in logistics vehicles, spot transactions are expected to become even more sluggish.
