[General Motors and Vianode Sign Multi-Billion Dollar Synthetic Graphite Supply Agreement] General Motors and Norway's Vianode announced on the 15th that they have signed a multi-billion dollar multi-year agreement under which Vianode will supply synthetic graphite anode materials for General Motors' EV batteries. The synthetic graphite will be used in EV batteries produced by Ultium Cells, a joint venture between General Motors and LG Energy Solution. The deal will commence in 2027 when Vianode's North American plant begins production and will continue through 2033.
