During the day, the SHFE lead January 2501 contract closed at 16,615 yuan/mt, with a settlement price of 16,560 yuan/mt, an open interest of 2,500 lots, a delivery volume of 12,500 mt, and a warehouse warrant inventory of 36,211 mt. The SHFE lead 2501 contract achieved smooth delivery.
During the day, the most-traded SHFE lead 2502 contract opened at 16,655 yuan/mt, fluctuated downward after the opening, and finally closed at 16,535 yuan/mt, up by 0.27%, recording a long upper shadow star-shaped bullish candlestick, with an open interest of 30,423 lots. Due to weak supply and demand in the spot market and lack of enthusiasm from funds, SHFE lead is likely to maintain sideways movement in the near term.
