[SMM Analysis] Sales and Production of Separator Materials Remained Strong, Separator Prices Held Steady This Week

This week, lithium battery separator material prices remained stable. Currently, domestic customers are still rushing for installations and stockpiling, while overseas customers also have plans to stockpile in advance. Overall downstream demand is improving, and material production and sales are performing well. In terms of prices, due to the previous price war and continuous price suppression by customers, separator material prices are at a relatively low range. At present, separator companies have good order volumes, and intense market competition has eased. To ensure stable supply, downstream customers have largely paused price suppression, resulting in relatively stable separator prices. However, given that there is still some surplus capacity for separators and new capacity is gradually being released, separator companies may continue to compete for market share in the future, which could lead to a slight decline in separator material prices.
