[SMM Weekly Review: Silicon Wafer Prices Rise Again, Market Sentiment Improves] This week, domestic N-type 18Xmm silicon wafers were priced at 1.1-1.15 yuan/piece, N-type 210R at 1.2-1.25 yuan/piece, and N-type 210mm silicon wafers at 1.42-1.45 yuan/piece. Silicon wafer prices continued to rise slightly this week, with prices increasing across almost all sizes. Currently, silicon wafer inventory remains relatively low, and manufacturers are under pressure to deliver, providing strong support for silicon wafer prices. Leading manufacturers have also shown high enthusiasm for pushing up prices. On January 2, two earthquakes in the Yinchuan area caused some impact on local crystal pulling, but the overall effect on supply and demand was limited. However, from a sentiment perspective, it supported another price increase for silicon wafers.
